FAQs

**Frequently Asked Questions**

Q: Do your pants run true to size? Want them “baggy”?

A: We only use true sizes.

All of our softball / baseball pants are cut loose through the legs and flared at the bottom --- a comfortable relaxed cut.

We always suggest going up a size, so if you have a 36" waist you would order a 36-38 waist size from Pennsylvania Avenue for Softball / Baseball pants.

All inseam lengths are true to size, if you order a 32" inseam length the pants will be 32" long.

Q: What material is used for your jerseys & pants?

A: The main material used for all of our jerseys & pants is polyester (top quality moisture-control material).

This material is designed specifically to be soft to the touch, yet durable and strong.

Our material also contains moisture-control properties to keep you cool and comfortable.

Q: Do you accept returns or grant exchanges?

A: We will not accept returns or grant refunds on custom made items. Any used item that has been damaged after being removed from the packaging will not be the responsibility of Pennsylvania Avenue. We will take full responsibility for items that have been manufactured in a less than satisfactory manner per our standards at Pennsylvania Avenue.

Please review our Order Policy page for more information.

Q: Do you keep your items stocked? Do you have samples?

A: At this time Pennsylvania Avenue only keeps samples in-stock.

We make everything custom to the particular order.

If you select 2nd Day Air, your package will ship 2nd Day Air when it comes down from the factory (this does not get your order manufactured quicker).

Occasionally, we do have some of our sample items in-stock and they can be purchased at a discounted price.

Q: What is Sublimation or Sub-Dye Printing?

A: Sublimation printing provides an excellent alternative to screen printing. Sublimation printing is an offset printing process which utilizes special dyes. These dyes are printed on paper and transferred onto various substrates using heat transfer equipment. The heat expands the molecules of the substrate and changes the dyes into a vapor which penetrate the material. Through this process the graphic actually becomes part of the substrate and, unlike screen printing, this will not change the feel of the material. Also known as dye sublimation where solid dye particles are changed into gas using heat and pressure, then bond with any polymers present, and change back into a solid.

Q: Do you offer Youth sizing for pants & jerseys?

A: We do offer Youth sized items.

Please contact Pennsylvania Avenue for a list of items available in Youth sizes.

We can do all of our softball / baseball jersey styles in Youth and mostly all of our softball / baseball pant styles.

Q: Are your uniforms “Made in the USA”?

A: We are proud to say that all of our main products are “Made in the USA”!

Q: Will I get to see a proof of my artwork for my Sublimation order?

A: Yes, sublimation customers that place orders requiring logos and personalized art will receive a proof via email. The art proof does take some time to create, so please have patience with us. Every time a change is made to color, size, numbers or anything else involving the proof the longer the process will take. Your delivery window begins once all artwork has been approved. Please respond to email approvals in a timely manner to ensure that we are staying on track with your order.

Q: Can I make additions or changes to the order I placed? What if I need extras or add-ons?

A: Once an order has been submitted and paid for (down payment or in full) we can not make any changes to your order. The majority of items made by Pennsylvania Avenue Sports are custom made and changes are very difficult to have made. Any additions (extras) to your order are subject to a full-price charge despite if you had an initial team order placed with us. If we can not add-on to your order because of the production level it is at, then we will need to submit a separate order and there will be a full-price charge. We will always try and accommodate our customers, however changes to tend to mess up the production schedule and efficiency by which we can deliver our products to you. No refunds will be given after payment has been given and order has been processed and started.

Q: Has my order shipped? When will I get tracking information?
Q: Does upgraded shipping help get my order made faster?
Q: Is there an up-charge for large sizes?

A: All orders (unless other noted as in-stock) are custom made and that does take time. Delivery windows are posted on the front page of this site.

A sublimation team order delivery window will begin once art has been approved for jerseys, pants or both.

Once your order is ready to ship you will receive tracking information via UPS to your email which you provided at the time of your order.

A: No, selecting upgraded shipping will not get your custom order made faster. We will be able to ship your order to you quicker once it is made, but that does take time. Delivery windows are posted on the front page of our site.

Please check with Pennsylvania Avenue customer service to see if upgraded shipping will be applicable to your order.

A: Yes, we do charge extra for larger sizes (mainly XL and above).

Larger sizes increases the amount of material used per item so we need to adjust pricing for that reason.

Please contact Pennsylvania Avenue if you have questions concerning upgraded charges.
